Profil
Odda camping has a beautiful location by the lake Sandvinsvatnet, and the end moraine that is next to the camping ground is the recreation area of the locals. The camping site is close to “the valley of the waterfalls” and … Folgefonna glacier is in the side valley that starts by the lake. There are several hiking routes up to the glacier. One glacier arm, Buerbreen, lies about 5-6 km from the camping ground, and most of our tourists visit Buerbreen. Glacier guides offer guided tour on the Buer glacier. Trolltunga (Troll tongue) is a famous rock formation in the mountains of Odda and is also worth visiting. Its situated only 12 km from the campsite. Groceries, snacks and souvenirs in the campingsite shop. Hot rolls for sale every morning.
