"high standar VS no standar - in all fairness very disapointing Went in with our camping car we spent one night there and happy not to have stay longer , we were charged 50 euros with electricity which I said we plugged in but really we did not use it as we were fully charged any way,so unplugged , my fault should not have plugged in ,and should have asked the price, any way the price with or without electricity is abusive , in nine month travelling throught France , Spain and Portugal we never pais this price , on top of it we took the potty out and the hole (a toilette sit)was block , absolutely discusting , after cleaning my own had to clean every one else ,the situation of the camp site is amazing but so are other campings in magnificients sites for a max of 25 euros. We became clients from the restaurant , this was the reason we came in the first place , and nothing to say , nice evening very warm and pleasant atmosphere, very profesional managers running the place , food and presentation were great , a bit pricy but you espect that when you see the place , wine list top nosh , you are not paying for the food only you pay the exclusivity of the place , so why dont they apply this to the standart of the camping, then we probably wont feel cheated.

"Schöner Campingplatz direkt am See - tolles, aber teures Restaurant - Wir haben eine Nacht mit dem Camper-Van am See verbracht. CheckIn war auch noch spät möglich, da das anliegende Restaurant auch abends geöffnet hat. Bei den Sanitären Anlagen empfehle ich die direkt unter dem Restaurant liegenden, die weiter hinten liegenden sind nicht wirklich gepflegt. Das Restaurant haben wir direkt ausprobiert, da es hier empfohlen wurde. Die Empfehlung teile ich, aber: Es ist ein absolut gehobenes Restaurant mit super Qualität, super Wein, super Service - aber zu einem für Camper und portugiesische Verhältnisse extrem hohen Preis. Also am besten vorher einmal in die Karte schauen.

"Mein Lieblingsplatz in Portugal - Kleiner, einfacher, idyllisch gelegener Platz mit viel Atmosphäre - mein Lieblingsplatz von den sechs Campimgplätzen, die ich bisher in Portugal besucht habe. Der Platz verfügt über einen eigenen Zugang zum See mit sehr klarem Wasser (im Mai noch etwas frisch aber an warmen Tagen durchaus schon zum Baden geeignet). Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern aber eher ungeeignet, da keine Flachwasserzone, steiles, steiniges Ufer, auch der Weg zum Badesteg ist nur bedingt badeschlappentauglich. Boot- und Kanufahrer werden sich über den vorhandenen Bootsslip freuen, wobei die Zufahrt dorthin etwas steil und kurvig ist. Wir hatten unseren VW-Bus in eine kleine Nische direkt neben dem Seezugang bugsiert, größere WoMos und Caravans sollten besser im oberen Platzbereich bleiben. Dort ist auch der Weg näher zu den einfachen, aber sehr gepflegten Sanitäranlagen. Unbedingt empfehlen möchte ich das dazugehörige Restaurant "O Sabor da Pedra" ( http://www.osabordapedra.com/ ), erstklassiges Essen mit Blick auf den See, dazu hervorragende Weine. Ideal für ein ausgiebiges Dinner in lockerer Atmosphäre - und keine Diskussionen, wer fahren muss. ;-)
